PLYMOUTH, Ind. — Community Christian College Women's Basketball faced a tough road test Tuesday evening, falling 100–35 to Marian University Ancilla on January 6th.
Rylee Mott led the way offensively with a team-high 19 points, knocking down all eight of her free-throw attempts while logging the full 40 minutes. Aniysia Lewis turned in a strong all-around performance, finishing with eight points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks, while Tices Spicer added seven points and a team-best 11 rebounds.
Community Christian battled on the glass, pulling down 29 rebounds, but struggled to find consistency shooting the ball, finishing 11-of-58 (19.0%) from the field and 3-of-20 from three-point range.
Despite the result, DC3 continued to compete for all four quarters, with each starter playing the entire game. The Lady Lions will look to regroup and build on the positives as they move forward in their schedule, playing at Edison State next on January 13th.
