FLINT – Though it was a competitive game, Mott Community College pulled away, as the Bears defeated the Community Christian College Women's Basketball team 56-46.
The loss dropped the Lady Lions to 1-11 overall, while Mott improved to 9-4.
Aqierra Hinton led Community Christian with 17 points, including a 3-pointer. She also shared the team lead in rebounds with Imani Smith, each recording nine.
Mott dominated free throws, outshooting DC3 26-8, while outscoring them 20-2.
Community Christian will return to action on Saturday, January 4th, at 1:00 p.m. against Alpena Community College at The Dearborn Academy.
