DETROIT – A turnover-prone third quarter was all it took for Wayne County Community College to pull away, as the Wildcats defeated the Community Christian College Women's Basketball team 82-60.
The loss dropped the Lady Lions to 1-10 overall, while Wayne County improved to 3-5.
Aqierra Hinton led Community Christian with 18 points, including two 3-pointers.
After only having 15 turnovers in the first half, DC3 would commit 18 alone in the 3rd quarter to give the Wildcats a resounding lead.
The Lady Lions will return to action on Thursday, January 2nd at 5:30pm at Mott Community College.
