WARREN -- The Community Christian College Women's Basketball team was on the short end of a 70-21 contest at Macomb CC. The Lady Lions hit 7 made shots in the game.
DC3 slipped to 0-5 while Macomb improved to 2-3.
The Lady Lions found themselves down 19-2 after the first quarter, and the gap never closed. They scored more in each quarter of play, and their defense improved considerably, but the damage was done.
Aqierra Hinton led Detroit with 9 points and 13 rebounds in the contest. Sydnei Courtney played her first game of the season and scored 6.
The Lady Lions will play next at Southwestern Michigan at 5pm this Wednesday.
