Athletic Director Jeff Reardon is pleased to announce the hiring of Ralph Sewell to the Community Christian College football staff.  He will serve as Defensive Backs and Assistant Head Coach.  Coach Sewell will also continue to perform his duties as the Head Football Coach, Violence Prevention Coordinator, and Dean of Students at Detroit's Pershing High School.  Born and raised in Detroit, Coach Sewell attended Martin Luther King and Denby High Schools before earning an athletic scholarship to play football at Central Michigan University.  At CMU, he excelled as a defensive standout and four-year starter.  He earned his Bachelors of Science degree from CMU and also holds a Masters of Science degree from the University of Phoenix.  

"Coach Sewell brings a wealth of experience to our football program," stated Reardon.  "He has a proven track record of developing young people on the field and in the classroom.  His positive influence will greatly impact the student-athletes in our program."
