Athletic Director Jeff Reardon is excited to welcome James Hill Jr. as the newest addition to the Community Christian College football staff as the quarterbacks coach.  Coach Hill will also continue to serve in his role as the Head Football Coach at Melvindale High School.  

"We are thrilled to be adding Coach Hill to our staff," stated Reardon.  "James is an outstanding young coach and he will have a transformative impact on the growth and development of our student athletes.  Given James' experience playing within our offensive system at Wayne State, he brings a unique advantage to our football program and will be able to hit the ground running."

Prior to taking over the program at Melvindale, Hill was an assistant coach at Trenton High School (2021) and Jackson Northwest High School (2020).

Coach Hill was a standout running back on the gridiron at Wayne State University (2015-2019).  He played in 38 contests and finished his collegiate career in the top ten for rushing yards per carry and rushing touchdowns.  He also scored a rushing touchdown in nine consecutive games during his senior season for the Warriors.
