REDLANDS, CA - For the second time this season, the Community Christian College Football program has recorded its largest win in program history. This time, the Lions defeated its sister school, the California Community Christian College Saints, 70-8.
The win brings Detroit to 4-5 on the season, doubling its win total from last season.
Among the many standout performances, Jalil Burnside recorded an interception, as well as 4 tackles and 2 pass breakups.
CCC Detroit will return to the metro area next week with a rematch against Madonna (JV), kickoff is set for 7pm on Sunday, November 2nd.
